A registered agent is a person or entity designated to receive official government and legal documents on behalf of your business — including service of process, state notices, and annual report reminders. Every business entity registered in a state is legally required to maintain a registered agent with a physical address in that state.
We help you determine whether your entities are required to file BOI reports with FinCEN, identify beneficial owners, prepare accurate reports, and manage update filings when ownership changes. Under the current Interim Final Rule (March 2025), only foreign reporting companies are required to file. See our CTA Reporting page for current status.
